“How long shall I suffer you?” — Matthew 17:17. Coming down from the mountain, Jesus finds his disciples unable to heal a boy who has been brought to them, and these words break out of him: a rare, very human moment of exasperation in the Gospels. Then, in the very next breath, he asks for the boy to be brought to him, and heals him. Patience can run out; love doesn't. Rendered in a vintage screen-print style.
