Guan Gong (關公) was Guan Yu, a general of the Three Kingdoms era whose loyalty became legendary. Raised to godhood in 1594, he is honored by Taoists, Buddhists and folk temples alike as the guardian of righteousness. His red face shows a loyal heart; his long black beard and green robe make him known at a glance. Sometimes he grips the Green Dragon Crescent Blade; sometimes he sits quietly reading the Spring and Autumn Annals by lamplight.
Printed on a heavyweight, garment-dyed Comfort Colors tee with a soft, lived-in fade.
