The story behind the line “Honest business only.” It's about Guan Gong, the Three Kingdoms general Guan Yu, honoured as a god of loyalty and righteousness. Merchants have long made him their patron, and his statue watches over countless shops. With a god of righteousness on the shelf, you'd better keep honest books.
Guan Gong (關公) was Guan Yu, a general of the Three Kingdoms era whose loyalty became legendary. Raised to godhood in 1594, he is honored by Taoists, Buddhists and folk temples alike as the guardian of righteousness. His red face shows a loyal heart; his long black beard and green robe make him known at a glance. Sometimes he grips the Green Dragon Crescent Blade; sometimes he sits quietly reading the Spring and Autumn Annals by lamplight.
A Next Level 3633 cotton muscle tank, soft combed ring-spun cotton with dropped armholes, printed with the design and its line.
