The story behind the line “Lights on. She's coming.” It's about Diwali. On the new-moon night of the festival, homes are cleaned and lit with lamps to welcome Lakshmi, the goddess of fortune, inside. So turning the lights on is the invitation, and her blessing is more than money: health, harmony and a full household.
Lakshmi (लक्ष्मी) is the goddess of fortune, prosperity and well-being, and the consort of Vishnu. She is shown seated or standing on an open lotus, lotuses in her hands and gold coins falling from her palm, while two elephants raise their trunks to bathe her in water. On the new-moon night of Diwali, homes are cleaned and lit with lamps to welcome her in. Her blessing is understood as more than money: it is health, harmony and a full household.
A light, flowy Bella+Canvas 8803 scoop-neck muscle tank for the studio and the street (runs small), printed with the design and its line.
