“Bring a raincoat.” Thor, Defender of Midgard.
The story behind the line. It's about Thor, the Norse god of thunder. His name simply means "thunder," and the old stories make him the storm god who protects gods and people with his hammer. Wherever Thor goes, the weather follows.
Thor (Þórr) is the Norse god of thunder, the strong and steadfast protector of gods and people. The old stories give him three treasures: the hammer Mjölnir, whose handle came out short when its forging was disturbed; a belt of strength that doubles his might; and iron gloves to grip the hammer. His chariot is drawn by two goats, Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr. Later tales gave him the fiery red beard by which most people know him.
The design and its line printed in a single ink on a heavyweight garment-dyed Comfort Colors tee in soft, lived-in colours: gold on the deep dyes, warm ink on the pale ones.
From The Deity Project, a living encyclopedia of the sacred.
Three ways to wear it: the classic tee is soft and lightweight ($29); the garment-dyed tee is heavier, with a softly faded, lived-in colour ($36); the garment-dyed one-ink tee prints the design and its line in a single ink, in soft earthy colours ($34).
